The flag of the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia (photo) is diagonally divided by a blue cross bordered yellow. The upper and the lower quarters are red, while the right and left quarters are orange. In the upper quarter is the yellow writing ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅԱՆ (Republic of Armenia), in the lower quarter is the yellow writing ՊԱՇՏՊԱՆՈՒԹՅԱՆ ՆԱԽԱՐԱՐՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ (Ministry of Defence).
In the middle of the cross is a blue circle bordered yellow and charged with the emblem of the Armenian Army.
The flag has yellow fringe.
